A big thanks to WP tech-team!
It mightn’t look good, that twice in one year a high % of UK wordpress users have been unable to access their blogs – nor reply to comments, nor to visit other blogs, nor generally to move around the WP environment. Yet when this occurred in July-August it took a fortnight-plus before WP tech-team even acknowledged the problem wasn’t at our end of the route. Then another two weeks to identify and rectify. This time it’s been just two days.
I don’t yet know what was blocking our blogs. Last time it was a UK watchdog organisation, clipping the illegal activities of a WP blogger (child porn was implied, though not stated). If the same thing has happened, then I for one say ‘Great’ to that organisation and to hell with 2 days of my blog-time lost.
I’ve been following the forum-thread. There have been a lot of complaints. I hope now there will be as many thanks.
